Plans for a hotel, retail and other mixed-use buildings are part of a city-wide revitalization effort for Houston suburb
FRIENDSWOOD, TEXAS, JULY 19, 2024 — Texas-based private investment firm Woven Integration, announces its investment in the Friendswood City Center through Wolfgramm Capital and Tannos Devleopment Group.
This 106-acre development will be located at corner of FM 528 and Bay Area Boulevard and promises to bring much desired amenities to Friendswood, Texas, a suburb of Houston.
The Friendswood City Center will feature a luxury hotel, a 500-unit multi-family complex, 150,000 square feet of retail space, 200,000 square feet of medical and office buildings, and 225,000 square feet of mixed-use structures including condominiums, entertainment areas, and smaller pad sites.
The development team celebrated the project’s groundbreaking earlier this year in April, with the build-out expected to be completed over the next three to four years.
“Investing in the Friendswood City Center project represents a strategic milestone for our real estate portfolio,” said Heather Bennett, Founding Partner of Woven Integration. “Not only does it align with our approach for strong future growth potential, but it’s also an opportunity to have a meaningful impact on a local level.”
Friendswood City Center will provide much-needed recreational areas and amenities for the local landscape, reducing the need for residents to seek entertainment and services outside the city.
The project holds special significance for Woven Integration, as Founding Partner Russell Hillenburg, claims Friendswood as his hometown.
“We are thrilled to contribute to the transformation of Friendswood through this investment venture,” said Hillenburg. “We believe this project will help to revitalize the community and foster economic growth in our own backyard.”
The Friendswood City Center is expected to generate $700 million for the city’s economy.
This investment venture underscores Woven Integration’s dedication to sustainable and impactful investments and is one of several the team is currently pursuing.
